Here's the latest Craft Barn challenge the choices were thing or family.
I decided to go with this poem A Song on King William the third - author unknown - although I just noticed that there seems to be a similar poem by Robert Burns also.
On my page there was still some residue of the pastels from the previous page but I then sprayed on some Dylusions. I added some fresco paint in white and then dripped on some distress reinker to make the blobs. I wrote on the poem with a green Posca pen and I stamped some Tim Holtz stamps in green archival.
Great page, love the background :)
ReplyDeleteA great poem to choose and great background colour too!

ReplyDeleteGood choice of words and lovely background.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice of words, loving your background especially the drippage :-) xxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful background and a lovely poem!
ReplyDeleteWhat an unusual poem. Bravo on coming across it Vicky :D
ReplyDeleteI actually like the blobs. They add lots of character to the background. HMM. I think the author of this poem may have been walking with me, because I often talk to myself. Sometimes I say I'm talking to Bleubeard, but he knows I'm just covering up the fact I'm talking to myself. That's a really unique and fun-to-read poem.
ReplyDeleteLovely.
ReplyDeleteI really like how you arranged the poem! Very nicely done!
ReplyDeleteA new poem to me and your background sets it off well.
