Christmas things...

Here are some things I can post now Christmas is over.

I painted and decorated the Noel frame (Paper Artsy fresco paints are lovely!) and some tiny little bells that I've been wanting a use for since I got them....

And I made an album for my sister and brother in law......based on Centerparcs! Here are some of the pages....I made the backgrounds with a variety of inks and paints in a green/brown theme and then I chose a theme for each page and cut out the photos and added some words etc.

Another card

Here is a card I made.....I created a Dylusions background.....I started out intending to make something pink but ended all all orange and red instead.....but I was really pleased with the colours I ended up with. I then just stamped on some random stamps and then used a lid to apply some glitter and then used Distress inks to create the Happy Birthday in matching colours and stamped on the greeting. Obviously couldn't finish the greeting off without some Walnut Stain distress ink round the edge and a bit of ribbon on the bottom!

Nitrogen

Finally finished Nitrogen for my elements pages. Had a bit of a leakage of pink from the next page......but once it dried it looked OK! It's just fun spraying Dylusions inks pretty much everywhere.....!! The photo has a bit of reflection because I used some metallic glaze.....but this one is just a bit crazy over all!

Happy Birthday Lee!

Here is this year's birthday cake for Lee. I am hoping it is obvious that it is a circuit board, and it turned out way better than I thought.......very pleased with the edible metallic paints I bought and also made good use of some liquorice allsorts, dolly mixtures and strawberry laces......whatever will I do with the rest of the packets hehe! Oh and the cake underneath is a Madeira cake yum yum!!

More Christmas Cards!

Here are my final lot of Christmas cards.......with the robin on the mushrooms being my favourite card this year. The robin is a Little Claire stamp, the mushrooms are dylusions coloured with distress inks, perfect pearls and some glitter, and the snowflakes are a Tim Holtz stamp embossed with white embossing powder and the robin was coloured with distress inks too....using a cut n dry nib; and little bit of fake snowy stuff that I forget the name of.

The penguin card is using distress stains and inks, I forget which set those stamps are from, and I went round the edge with perfect pearls.

The next one I created a background with gold paint and I can't remember if it was metallic glaze of shimmer mod podge, then I stamped the snowflakes and added some ribbon and cut the greeting out using a nestability.

The final one was simply a shape cut out on the cricut and some background paper, another snowflake with glitter on and a greeting.

Bye Bye!

Well we said goodbye to our manager at work today......here is the leaving card I made......it is the biggest card I have ever made.......bit of a challenge working out how to fill the space. Luckily distress inks save the day as usual.....and I cut out some letters on the cricut and stamped a few cats.....I think those ones a Lindsay Mason stamps.....

Christmas cards.....

Here are some more Christmas cards....I really love all the ones I've done with my new Cricut cartridge, although sometimes it can be fiddly to cut all the parts out and stick them together, the finished articles look really cute! The background paper is from Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet collection.
For this one I was trying to go for the keep it simple but I struggle where to stop hehe! The tree is from a set of trees I think it might be Creative Expressions not quite sure tho..... I stamped the Hero Arts greeting on acetate and drew on the baubles on the tree and coloured with distress stickles.

I bought some pre cut out trees and used them here. Coloured with silver paint, a kind of brass type paint that I swooshed a bit to get a pattern and then crackle paint. Background paper is Graphic 45 again and the greeting is from Craftwork cards.

This one is a lamp post stamp from Tim Holtz SA and the houses are from the Hobby Art scene it coastal set. Made them look snowy with paint and gesso and used a bit of picket fence distress stain and some more paint for the snow on the ground. Stamped the hero arts greeting with gold paint and put some glitter round the edge....
