Mind

Here is my entry into the latest quotes and lyrics challenge over at the craft barn

The words this time are mind or ignorance - I went with mind and an Edward Lear limerick

There was an old man of Three Bridges,
Whose mind was distracted by midges,
He sate on a wheel, eating underdone veal,
Which relieved that old man of Three Bridges.

I couldn't fit it all on the page so it's just the first part.

The pink background is pastels and the writing is a fine Sharpie with a little Wink of Stella for good measure. I decided to join the Splodgeaway club and those flowery leaf stencils came with the fist package, I just used distress ink with them. As always a little walnut stain mysteriously ended up around the edge hehe!!

  1. Wow, Vicky. The background is gorgeous and your handwriting is superb. Wish I could make letters that beautiful. Walnut stain was the perfect final addition, too.
