I ended up doing it a bit backwards because I drew the letters whilst on holiday but I didn't have any inks or paints to do the background with, so had to leave that for when I got home. The letters are metallic Molotow pens and then the background is just a hodge podge of Dylusions and distress inks, and a little zentangley type stuff on the side - I would have done some more Zentangle but I didn't have time.
How many times have found partway a project I did things the wrong way around... and without the excuse of not having my stash at hand! Lovely page anyway...
ReplyDeleteA lovely page and doesn't look at all backwards done.
ReplyDeleteIt's a fine result, and fits the bill :D
ReplyDeleteI thought you did a MARVELOUS job considering you had no supplies. I fell in love with that background, too! I'm also guilty of starting a project without thoroughly thinking it through, only to find I had done something backward. Yours turned out stunning, unlike some I've failed miserably on.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful background considering lack of supplies and love your quote & lettering very much:-) xxx
ReplyDeleteIt worked out perfectly. Love the background and the colours you have used.
