Bye Bye!

Well we said goodbye to our manager at work today......here is the leaving card I made......it is the biggest card I have ever made.......bit of a challenge working out how to fill the space. Luckily distress inks save the day as usual.....and I cut out some letters on the cricut and stamped a few cats.....I think those ones a Lindsay Mason stamps.....

Christmas cards.....

Here are some more Christmas cards....I really love all the ones I've done with my new Cricut cartridge, although sometimes it can be fiddly to cut all the parts out and stick them together, the finished articles look really cute! The background paper is from Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet collection.
For this one I was trying to go for the keep it simple but I struggle where to stop hehe! The tree is from a set of trees I think it might be Creative Expressions not quite sure tho..... I stamped the Hero Arts greeting on acetate and drew on the baubles on the tree and coloured with distress stickles.

I bought some pre cut out trees and used them here. Coloured with silver paint, a kind of brass type paint that I swooshed a bit to get a pattern and then crackle paint. Background paper is Graphic 45 again and the greeting is from Craftwork cards.

This one is a lamp post stamp from Tim Holtz SA and the houses are from the Hobby Art scene it coastal set. Made them look snowy with paint and gesso and used a bit of picket fence distress stain and some more paint for the snow on the ground. Stamped the hero arts greeting with gold paint and put some glitter round the edge....

Graphic 45 papers

Saw these papers at the craft show we went to at Kettering the other week and we thought they were amazing......to be honest they are so lovely I would like to paper the walls with them....

Here is a card I have made with the Christmas papers.......the stamp is a Hobby Art greeting and the background snowflake was the free stamp form this months Craft Stamper mag.

A bit late for Halloween but....

I made some Halloween cakes......I tried the same last year and found they got stuck in the moulds but I bought some cake release spray and that works much better...although they still required a bit of shaking to get out......and I made some choccie cookies as well..... I've also got some jellies in the fridge as we speak using the same Halloween moulds.....I know Halloween has passed but I wanted to make some fun shapes and experiment to see if the Jelly will come out OK.....I used some blue food colouring but it actually came out more green than blue.....

Carbon

Here is Carbon.....which is actually a double spread with Nitrogen but I haven't quite finished Nitrogen yet. It was all Dyan Reavely inspired as I was watching a video demo of her ghosting technique.......and now I've gone all ink and stencil crazy hehehehe!!

Also used a couple of Tim Holtz stamps and a splurge of paint around and about......

Boron

And here is Boron......a big spiral of oil pastels.....and then some areas painted white so I could write on them......
