P P Pick up a Penguin!

It's letter P this time over at the Craft Barn's alpha challenge

I decided to choose Penguin. I think I must have been influenced after watching Spy in the huddle :)

I had a few goes at drawing penguins and they looked a little crazy so I opted for printing a picture of some penguins and mod podging it down......that's after I had gessoed the pages to my craft sheet and almost ripped all the pages out.....ooops! Once that had dried I went round the edge with Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean distress ink.....I wrote on the word Penguin and then I added some micro beads and glitter....

  9. I too love penguins and that programme was so funny and informative wasn't it? I love your page and think I would have done exactly the same: utilise a picture of them into my work. They look very simple to draw but try doing it! Great idea to add that icy shimmer around the edges too.
